Kadu and Larissa

Larissa Thayane has been Dancing since the age of 8, first was Jazz & Ballet. At age 17 she was recognized as a Professional Classical Dancer and performed all over the World.
Larissa while in Rio De Janiero discovered Latin Dance and Kadu. In 2006 they won a Latin Dance Competition in Melbourne and in Rio they also won a Gold Medal in the Conselho Brasileiro De Dance Competition and places 3rd in the regional Salsa Step Competition. Together they have conducted workshops all over the World, there popularity for there ZOUK Dancing has given them much respect and a reputation as one of the Best Zouk Lambada Dancers! Kadu started Latin Dance from age 15, he studied Samba Rock, Lambada, Samba No Pe, Hip Hop and Ballet. Kadu was accepted into the Famous Jimmy De Oliveira Dance Academy where his career took off. Kadu appeared in many Television Programs and was a permanent Dancer for 2 years in a program called “Mulheres” . Kadu has performed with some of the Greats , such as Rogerio Mendonza (Salsa), Jimmy De Oliveira (Samba) , Rafael Oliveira & Alex De Carvalho (Lambada) and Henrique Talmah (Contempory). Kadu & Larissa moved to Australia in 2005 and have earnt the names The Emperor & Emperess of Zouk and they are based in Brisbane at Rio Rhythmics Dance Academy. |
