Jaime Jesus has been the lead Instructor for Latin Dance Australia since 2003. His amicable personality and ability to explain the most intricate of details has earned him a reputation as Australia’s best male Instructor and one of the best instructors in the world. His reputation has carried him to instruct thousands of dancers all over the world in places such as:

As a performer Jaime has turned himself into one of the most sought after dancer’s world wide. His original style and trade mark choreographies have taken audiences by storm and landed him international offers to perform in every major international congress around the world.

After spending the last 2 ½ years winning 7out of 8 salsa Competitions with his last competition giving him the title of “Australia Salsa Champion” contested by some of the best salsa dancers from all over Australia. Jaime became a regular judge in most of Australia’s Salsa Competitions and has been invited to judge International Salsa Competitions such as the “World Amateur Salsa Championships” in San Marino and recently being a guest judge in competitions in Spain, China, Korea, New Zealand and many more.

His biggest achievement as a judge was his success in being selected as one of the judges in the 2nd and 3rd series of the ABC Television Series Strictly Dancing Australia’s number 1 dance competition: Here Jaime became the face of Australian salsa as he was viewed by over 1.5million viewers around Australia every Friday night during the 2005 and 2006 series.

Liz Raciti also known as “Little Liz” and is known for her amazingspins, ladies styling, smooth sensual body movements and musicalinterpretation. The dance styles that Liz performs and teaches are SalsaOn1 and On2, Ladies Styling and Spins Technique, Samba, Zouk Lambada,Samba De Gafieira, Bachata, Cha Cha, Forro and Axe. Little Liz started to learn to dance in 2002 and after falling in lovewith Salsa, Liz traveled overseas in 2003 to Los Angeles to learn fromthe best in the world and to attend the Puerto Rico Salsa Congress inSan Juan, where she was first introduced to Salsa On2. After attendingthe workshops and watching the amazing performances and social dancing,Liz returned to Australia inspired to take her dancing to the nextlevel.

Her rapid climb up the salsa ranks was spotted by one of her former instructors where he invited her not only to be a member of the LDA crewin August of 2004, but it was an invitation to become his dance partneras well. This was the beginning of Jaime Jesus and Little Liz! Liz has been teaching at LDA since 2004, one of her passions is teachingpeople how to dance. Liz is known for her fun, detailed style andprecise teaching methods. Liz teaches every style of dance for LatinDance Australia including the regular classes in Salsa On1 and On2,Samba, Zouk, Gafieira and Forro.

Since 2004, Little Liz has travelled the world teaching and performingSalsa with her dance partner Jaime Jesus. Liz has travelled teachingdance to over the world at Salsa Congresses such as UK Salsa Congress,Hong Kong Salsa Festival, Singapore International Salsa Festival, JapanSalsa Congress, Korea Salsa Congress and Asia Latin Festival, MalaysianSalsa Festival and LA Salsa Congress plus many more!! In 2005, Little Liz and Jaime Jesus won the Australian SalsaChampionships and also went on to compete in the Mayan World SalsaChampionships where they placed third in the world! In the history ofthe World Championships Jaime and Liz are the only couple to dance On2and also be from outside the US to make the finals and place third.

One of Little Liz’s main inspirations is her passion for live music. Liz’s favourite musicians and bands include Hector Lavoe, Spanish HarlemOrchestra, Celia Cruz, Luisito Quintero, Willie Colon and Gilberto SantaRosa. A main highlight for Liz was to meet the members of the SpanishHarlem Orchestra in Singapore and Australia (2007,2008) and to dancewith them on stage!! One of the most recent forms of dance Liz has fallen in love with is Zouk Lambada. Along with her Zouk dance partner, Allan Dantas, they aretaking Australia by storm with their sensual style of Zouk.
