David Lartist and Camela

Originally from the antilles islands, he was born on April 25th 1972 in Paris. A professional dancer since he is 20 years old, his skills are in Hip hop, jazzrock, funk and afro dance to name a few. It is thanks to these basics that he has created his own technique and mastered a style all his own.

David started to dance at the monte cristo in paris where he learned the cuban style at wich he excelled.

After travelling several times to puerto rico and participating to numerous international salsa congress, david started to teach mambo salsa and has continued his passion for the last 12 years notably in paris and provence.

His passion for the dance and music bring him to organize parties and David Lartist became a famous salsa parties organizer in Paris.

You can find him at the Barrio latino, Balajo, Salsa social club all week and of course in many festival as a dancer.

Why do we call him Lartist? To some, this could seem pretentious, but there is actually a true story behind it. The name comes to david’s childhood as a young soccer player when his coach would constantly say to him « hey lartist ! » stop dancing on the field and play soccer! Ever since then the name has stuck.
