How can I purchase my pass?

What about group bookings?
If you are the organiser of a group booking and you collecting the money and booking the passes for on behalf of a group, then you will need to either complete the booking online or complete a Group Booking Form so that we can ensure we have correct meal preferences for the group. Nicknames are not accepted. If you have collected the money, email your group booking form to DouDouLe Team. The money must be deposited within 7 days to secure passes and for cabin allocations to be completed.

I am part of a team that would like to perform. How do I book a performer pass?
We greatly appreciate the time and financial commitment that students and teachers make to perform at congresses around Australia and the World. 2015 will be the first year that we are excited to announce that we will be featuring a smaller showcase of performances that will be from the International and National Intermediate/Advanced Teams and Professionals! This means beginners will have more time to relax, do workshops and enjoy doing what you love – dancing!

Can I buy a pass without accommodation?
In short, yes! Ideally, it’s the camaraderie of camp that makes the experience unique, however we appreciate some of you live at the beautiful Gold Coast already or have accommodation there. I’d really like to see if I can obtain a free pass? Is this possible?
Unfortunately not. Planning these events involve Artists fees and venue hire. We already provide all meals and accommodation in the price of your pass. DouDouLe Latin Dance Camp is one of the most affordable latin events held, taking into account that the price of the pass is all inclusive. Supporting the event and purchasing your pass will ensure the event continues. We understand that the camp is so much fun that you absolutely have to be there – these days it’s a tough choice choosing which ones you can go to and which ones you can’t. If you absolutely have to be there, we would love to host you so get your budget organised well in advance!

Can you hold a pass for me?
DouDouLe Latin Dance Camp does have a limit to the number of people that it can host. Being amongst one of the longest running annual events, popularity grows each year. Unfortunately, we cannot hold passes for you but hopefully having a couple of months in order to get your passes organised helps.

I have dietary requirements – how can I ensure that these are taken into account?
When you book your passes, your dietary preferences are requested so that we can help the venue be as prepared as possible. We understand that there are Gluten Free / Vegetarian / Lactose Free / Nut Allergies / Vegan and endeavour to cater for everyone. If you have any other food requirement other than those available, please email it to us and we will do our best to accommodate.

Who will I share a cabin with?
If you have booked a single pass and haven’t specified who you would prefer to share with, we will generally allocate you in a cabin based on your gender. It’s the best way to get to know fellow dancers across the country and to make new friends!

I would like to stay with a specific group of people. How can I arrange this?
If you haven’t made your booking together, once you have booked your pass, if you wish to stay with particular people in a group, please email Cabin Allocation Team with the names of the people in the group that you wish to stay with. We will do our best to put you with your people of preference. Please do not use nicknames or Facebook aliases. Unfortunately, if you have not purchased your pass, we will not be able to either hold or allocate you to a cabin until such time as you have your pass. As cabin allocations is a big job with the number of dancers, please do not SMS or Facebook these as they may be missed. Emailing them to one dedicated central email provided will help make our job much easier!

How can I request a specific cabin?
We appreciate that you may have stayed at DouDouLe camp before and you may have a favourite cabin. We will endeavour to make everyone as comfortable as possible as we have many dancers to accommodate. We do try to make the weekend as enjoyable for everyone but to avoid disappointment, please keep in mind that we are unable to fulfil every request. You will still have a fabulous weekend and who knows, they say a change is as good as a holiday. Obviously, priority will be given to those with legitimate requirements.

Can I bring children?
For everyone’s comfort, workshops and parties are not really an ideal environment. However children are able to be at the camp as a visitor during the day or to parties but unfortunately they are not permitted overnight.

Can I pay to do just one of the workshops?
Unfortunately this is not possible. The benefit of purchasing a full pass is that you have unlimited access to all the workshops.

I haven’t purchased either full pass or a party pass. Am I able to visit friends for the day?
Most of the dancers who attend DouDouLe are there for the workshops and parties, however, you can definitely arrange to catch up with your interstate or international dance friends. You will need to arrange for this to occur off the camp site as non-pass holders are not permitted within the grounds.

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
We understand that life sometimes throws in changes. If you have already purchased your ticket, it is your responsibility to sell your ticket. You are welcome to advertise it on the DouDouLe Facebook page. Once you have transferred the ticket, you need to email the recipients details to us at email Ticketing Team.

Can I request a refund?
If you are unable to find someone to transfer your ticket to, you can cancel your ticket and receive a refund of 80% of your pass no less than 21 days prior to the event, or 60% of the pass within the 21 day period. For cancellations, please contact one of our team members on Ticketing Team.

Can I volunteer?
Absolutely! We love volunteers! Volunteering is a great way to get to meet everyone. There are lots of things that we need help with – set-up and pack down, moving chairs and tables, checking guests in, linen allocation, dining, room check-outs, selling t-shirts and other odd jobs. We have a limit on the number of volunteers so if you are interested, please register your interest by email Volunteer Team and we will give you more information.
